Mgr. Lenka Bittová, Ph.D., a native of České Budějovice, studied biochemistry at Charles University in Prague. She lived and worked as a scientist in the USA for twenty years. She is currently working at the Biology Centre of the Czech Academy of Sciences and teaches chemistry at a high school.
In her spare time she enjoys sports, singing in choir, writing poetry and wandering in nature.
